RONNIE SPECTOR SIGNS TO CREATION RECORDS
Ronnie Spector, the leader of '60s all-girl group The Ronettes and former wife of producer/svengali Phil Spector, has signed a deal with Creation Records, the home of Oasis, Primal Scream and Super Furry Animals among others.

Ronnie, whose hits with The Ronettes included 'Be My Baby', 'Walking In The Rain', and 'Baby I Love You' has recorded a four-track EP produced by Joey Ramone. One of the tracks, 'Bye Bye Baby', is a duet with Ramone. The other tracks are covers of Johnny Thunders' 'You Can't Put Your Arms Around A Memory', The Ramones' 'She Talks To Rainbows' and 'Don't Worry Baby', the track written for her by Brian Wilson, which Phil Spector forbade her to sing because he hadn't written it. Her EP is due out later this year.
