Soul legend Billy Henderson dies

The Spinners singer Billy Henderson has died at the age of 67.

Henderson passed away on Friday (February 2) following complications from diabetes in Florida.

The Spinners had a number of US hits including 'I'll Be Around', 'Could It Be I'm' Falling In Love', 'Then You Came' and 'The Rubberband Man'. The band were nominated for six Grammy Awards.

Henderson was dismissed from the group in 2004 after suing the group's corporation and business manager to obtain financial records, reports Yahoo.
