Fans invited to write haikus to win prizes

Gnarls Barkley have started a novel competition on their website.

Fans have been invited to compose haikus, with the best winning an unknown prize.

On the band’s official website, AB Vidal, the ‘CEO of St. Elsewhere’, states: “Your theme can be either solitude or pineapples. Or, if you can manage it, both.”

Fans can enter the competition an unlimited number of times.

The contest closes today (February 6).
