Boston singer's death ruled suicide

The death of Boston singer Brad Delp has been ruled a suicide, police have said.

Tests showed Delp committed suicide by carbon monoxide poisoning.

A family statement issued by police said: “We take comfort in knowing that he is now, at last, at peace.

“He was a man who gave all he had to give to everyone around him, whether family, friends, fans or strangers. He gave as long as he could, as best he could, and he was very tired. We take comfort in knowing that he is now, at last, at peace.”

As previously reported Delp was found dead in his home on March 9 in southern New Hampshire.

Boston achieved great success during the 1970s and 1980s with the songs ’More Than A Feeling’, ’Peace Of Mind’ and ’Don’t Look Back’.
