Reformed band join Beastie Boys at Connect Festival

The Jesus and Mary Chain to play Scottish comeback gig

The Jesus And Mary Chain are set to play their first Scottish gig in years.

The band, who split in 1998 and reformed earlier this year, will play Connect, which will take place on the weekend of August 31 and September 2 on the banks of Loch Fyne, Inveraray in Argyll.

The festival will also feature The Beastie Boys, Primal Scream and Bjork.

The line up is:

Friday August 31
The Beastie Boys
The Jesus and Mary Chain
CSS
King Creosote

Saturday September 1
Primal Scream
The Only Ones

Sunday September 2
Bjork
LCD Soundsystem
Tilly And The Wall
Idlewild


Tickets will go onsale on Friday (March 23) at 9am.
