Up-and-coming Texan singer dies aged 33
Rising country star Buck Jones, aged 33, has been killed after being hit by a vehicle as he walked alongside an interstate service road in Texas.
The singer, who released album 'Lucky Star' in 2005, was struck from behind early on Saturday (March 17).
Co-producer Billy Block explained Jones had blown a tyre on his vehicle and was looking for assistance when he was killed.
The driver of the vehicle which hit the singer was taken in custody under a charge of intoxicated manslaughter.
The singer leaves behind seven-month-old son Walker Dylan Jones and wife Amy-Beth Jones.
Speaking of the tragedy, Billy Block said: "Buck will be warmly remembered for his easy smile and positive attitude. His memory and his music will live on."
