OK Go treadmill clip scoops 'Most Creative' prize

YouTube Announces Video Awards

Chicago-based band Ok Go scooped the award for most creative video on YouTube as the website announced its first video awards yesterday (March 26).

The clip, for their 2006 hit 'Here It Goes Again', saw the band gyrating and posing in unison over eight treadmills. So far the clip (which can be seen below) has been watched by over 13 million people on the site.

Other gongs went to Madyeti47 for his cartoon, 'Kiwi!', in the Most Adorable category, while the Most Inspirational Video prize went to Peace On Earth 123 for his Hugs On Earth Campaign, in which a man wanders the streets offering free hugs to strangers.

Ok Go are currently recording their second album in Malmo with producer Tore Johannson, who was responsible for Franz Ferdinand's first album.
