Suge Knight evicted from home

Police present as rap mogul's possessions are removed

Rap impresario Marion 'Suge' Knight has been evicted from his luxury pad in Los Angeles under police presence.

Squad cars and a detective were present as the former Death Row Records boss was ejected from the property on Friday (March 23). All of Knight's possessions were removed from the condominium to a truck outside the front of his home before being taken away.

The controversial Knight's former label is currently embroiled in a legal row after Rap-A-Lot Records filed a $300,000 lawsuit to recover funds they alleged they put into the creation of the '2Face' album, containing performances by 2Pac.

Knight’s assets have been frozen since August 2005, and he applied for bankruptcy in April 2006 after a court judgement went against Death Row Records.

The judgement ordered Knight to pay $107 million to Lydia and Michael Harris, now divorced, who claimed to have invested $1.5 million in Death Row to start it up in association with Knight's attorney, David Kenner.
