Punk legend forms DJ collective

Don Letts forms The Invisible Players

Legendary punk filmmaker Don Letts, who has worked with Franz Ferdinand and The Clash, has announced he is launching a DJ collective.

Rizla’s The Invisible Players consist of Letts, Pete Fowler, Hacienda legend Greg Wilson and Twisted Nerve founder Andy Votel.

According to a statement the band will “recreate an original travelling music van from the 1920’s”. They will host parties from their van and play impromptu sets.

They will make their debut at the Electric Chair in Manchester on May 6.
