We will reveal the world's ulimate songs - as voted for by you

This week will NME and Xfm will announce the 50 Greatest Indie Anthems Ever - as voted for by you.

We’ve counted up all the songs and suggestions you sent in last month and now on NME.COM we’re almost ready to reveal who has made the cut - and which song you have proclaimed the Number One Indie Anthem ever.

The full list, plus exclusive interviews with the acts who've made it will feature in this week's issue of NME which hits UK newsstands from May 2.

We’ll also be counting down to Number One throughout this week on NME.COM, starting with Numbers 50-31 tomorrow (May 1), followed by Numbers 30-11 on Wednesday (2), before revealing the Top 10 and The Greatest Indie Anthem Ever on Thursday (3).

However here’s a sneak preview of the acts whose tracks have made the list - though just to keep you guessing for now they’re in alphabetical order:
