Radio 2 gathers bands to recreate 'Sgt Pepper'
The Magic Numbers have recorded 'She's Leaving Home' for the ’Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Heart Club Band’ tribute.
The programme, which goes out on Saturday (June 2) at 8pm, will celebrate the 40th Anniversary of The Beatles album. The show, which will be broadcast on BBC Radio 2 in two parts, sees a host of other bands playing tribute.
Kaiser Chiefs have recorded ’Getting Better’, Bryan Adams does ’Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’, The Fray do ’Fixing A Hole’ and Razorlight do ’With A Little Help From My Friends’.
The second part of the tribute will be aired on June 16.
