Eminem, MUSE, Ian Brown, THE BLUETONES, EMBRACE, ELASTICA and SUPER FURRY ANIMALS have all been confirmed for the Reading/Leeds Carling Weekend Festivals held over the August Bank Holiday Weekend, nme.com can reveal.
Muse, Embrace and Ian Brown are to headline nights on the Radio 1 Evening Session stage while Eminem, Super Furry Animals, Elastica and The Bluetones have been added to the main stage.
The 'Tones will play below Oasis, Primal Scream and Foo Fighters, with Elastica and SFA playing under Beck, Pulp and Gomez. Eminem will play on the bill under Placebo and Stereophonics.
More acts will be announced over the coming weeks, and it's highly likely that Slipknot will be added to the bill.
Tickets for weekend cost #80 for all three days, or #33 per day with no camping.
