He'll tour North America this fall

Devendra Banhart has released details of his fifth studio album in as many years.

Posting on his MySpace page, Banhart revealed that he is currently mixing the as-yet-untitled follow-up to 2005's 'Cripple Crow'.

He wrote: "Dear Friends! It's a beautiful day in California, we began mixing the record today, let's see...it's about 16 songs, some very unexpected guests."

Banhart has not yet revealed who the guests are, but he disclosed the dates of an extensive North American tour set for late summer and early fall, which includes a stop at Seattle's Bumbershoot Festival on September 2.
