Amy Winehouse cancels Oxegen appearance

CSS send her a 'get well soon' message

Amy Winehouse cancels Oxegen appearance
Amy Winehouse has cancelled her Oxegen Festival appearance today (July 8) due to “exhaustion.”

The singer also cancelled her performance at T In The Park yesterday (July 7) and a show in Liverpool earlier in the week (July 4) citing the same reason.

As previously reported yesterday’s it was explained the singer would not play because "Following a year of non-stop touring and promotion, Amy has been advised by a doctor to take time off and rest. Amy would like to apologise to fans for this cancellation".

However CSS were on hand to wish Winehouse a speedy recovery, with bandmember Adriano Cintra declaring from the stage: "Poor Amy, get well soon."

NME.COM will be bringing you all the action from the T In The Park and Oxegen festivals this weekend.
