Zutons guitarist quits band

Boyan Chowdury has left the saxy scouse stars

Guitarist Boyan Chowdury has left The Zutons.

A source close to the band said that the split was amicable and that the group all remain friends. “Musical differences” was the cited reason for the split.

The source said that Chowdury, famous for his droopy moustache as well as his musical achievements, has written his own songs and plans to assemble a new band, although no details as to who he will recruit have emerged as yet.

The Zutons are yet to announce if he will be replaced permanently.
