Devendra Banhart announces new album title
'Smokey' also features lots of collaborations
Devendra Banhart has revealed that his new album will be called ’Smokey Rolls Down Thunder Canyon’.
The record is set to feature Joanna Newsom’s brother Pete Newsom, Vetiver’s Andy Cabic, Otto Hauser, Greg Rogove and Rodrigo Amarante from Los Hermanos.
Of the 16 tracks, some will include ’Cristobel’, ’So Long Old Bean, ’Samba Vexillographica’ and ’Seahorse’.
The album is set to be released in the UK on September 25, reports Pitchfork.
