Truck rescheduled despite severe flooding
Oxford festival back on after being rained out
Despite the fact Truck Festival was called off due to severe flooding on Friday (July 20), a last-minute alternative location was found and a benefit for the rescheduled festival took place.
As previously reported Ginge Brook river in Steventon Oxfordshire burst its banks due to excessive rain, leaving the camping, parking and audience areas flooded.
A full rescheduled festival will take place on the weekend of September 22, but the event at the weekend (July 22, 23) took place as a precursor to this.
According to a statement it "served as a benefit/fundraiser in order for the rescheduled event in September to be as legendary as this weekend would have been, and enable us to contribute to the causes that the Truck Festival supports.”
