Band member suffers a stroke before taking stage

The Envy Corps were forced to abandon a show in London last night (August 29) after guitarist Brandon Darner suffered a stroke.

The band were due to play the final show of their residency at Water Rats in Kings Cross.

However, Darner was rushed to hospital after becoming ill just before the band were due to take to the stage.

A statement has yet to appear on their Myspace page.

The band are set to release their single 'Rhinemaidens' on October 8.
