Britney set to apologise on live TV this Sunday?

Star in talks to appear on Emmys to say 'I'm sorry' for VMAs

Britney set to apologise on live TV this Sunday?

Britney Spears is set to appear on TV this Sunday (September 16), apologising for her lacklustre performance at the MTV VMAs.

The singer is reportedly “in negotiations” with Emmy Awards producers, who are trying to get Spears to appear live at the ceremony this Sunday (September 16).

Usmagazine.com is saying that while Spears is “weighing the offer” to apologise, and quotes a source that says “the Emmy people aren't dealing with her record company, her manager or her agents at William Morris. So if she is doing anything for the Emmys then it's not going through the official channels".

The Emmy Awards will air in the US this Sunday at 8pm Eastern on Fox.
