US rapper Lil Wayne has been arrested after a gig.
The rapper was arrested after a concert in Idaho on a warrant stemming from a drug possession charge.
Wayne was charged with being a fugitive after authorities in the stage of Georgia accused him of possessing a controlled substance.
Due to the nature of the charges the rapper was not eligible for bail. He is due to be formally charged on Tuesday (October 9).
The rapper is scheduled to appear at Black Entertainment TV (BET)’s Hip Hop Awards next week.
It is not yet known if he will be able to appear, reports BBC News.
