Man identifed in Knitting Factory death
Nicholas Phillips worked with one of the bands performing
The man found unconscious in the bathroom of New York venue Knitting Factory has been identified as 28 year-old Nicholas Phillips.
Phillips was discovered unconscious in the bathroom of the downtown venue in the early hours of Sunday morning (November 11), and could not be revived. He was pronounced dead around half-an-hour later.
A report in today’s (November 13) New York Post says Phillips died of an apparent drug overdose, although this has yet to be confirmed.
Phillips worked as crew with one of the bands performing at the venue on Saturday night.
