Ozzy Osbourne’s glasses and clothes were among items sold in an auction at the singer’s former home in Los Angeles on Friday (November 30).
The house, which was reportedly recently purchased by pregnant pop star Christina Aguilera, was the setting for the hugely popular MTV reality show ‘The Osbournes’.
The auction was held to raise money for The Sharon Osbourne Colon Cancer Program at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in LA, which was set up after the singer’s wife Sharon was diagnosed with colon cancer. She has since recovered.
Buyers included both art collectors and Ozzy fans who travelled from around the world for the auction. Among the items purchased include a pool table and a dog bed given to the family by Elton John.
The auction raised over $800, 000 which was more than twice the amount expected by auctioneers.
