London music venue set to re-open
New launch for venue will take place in March
London’s Garage venue, which has been closed for refurbishment since July 2006, will open its doors again in March 2008.
The venue, in the Highbury area of north London, had undergone extensive refurbishment over the past year-and-a-half, and will be hosting gigs again with a capacity of 620 in the main downstairs room, plus a smaller upstairs venue with a capacity of 150.
There will be a further 'mini-bar', with a capacity of 50.
Organisers are promising that sound quality as well as the décor will be improved for the venue.
