Pimp C funeral to take place this week
Hometown memorial planned for Grammy-nominated rapper
A funeral service for rapper Pimp C will take place this Thursday (December 13) in his hometown of Port Arthur, TX.
The rapper, whose real name was Chad Butler, was found dead in a Los Angeles hotel room last week (December 4). He was 33.
Just two days after his death, Butler and his UGK partner Bun B were nominated for a Grammy for their collaboration with Outkast on ‘Int'l Players Anthem (I Choose You) .’
The cause of Butler’s death is still unknown.
