Martha Wainwright to join brother Rufus for Christmas performance
Pair will perform in Teddy Thompson and Friends show
Martha Wainwright is set to join her brother Rufus on stage at the Highline Ballroom in New York City for a special charity performance this Wednesday (December 19).
The singer will her brother, Teddy Thomas, Ben Lee and more for the Teddy Thompson & Friends Christmas Show which will raise funds for safedarfur.org.
The show is the follow up to last year’s charity event which raised over $14,000 for the cause, and was held at The Living Room, an intimate venue on the Lower East Side.
Wainwright is current completing the follow up to her self-titled 2005 album, which is expected to be released in the spring.
