X Factor star tops singles chart for second week

Leon Jackson holds on to Number One spot

X Factor star Leon Jackson has held on to the Number One slot in the UK singles chart today (December 30) with his single ‘When You Believe’.

The song, which bagged the Christmas Number One slot last Sunday (December 23), held of competition from the likes of Leona Lewis and Soulja Boy Tellem to hold on to the top spot.

The Pogues and Kirsty McCall enjoyed a sustained festive bump, charting at Number Nine with their Christmas classic ‘Fairytale Of New York’.

Wham! Also managed to remain in the top forty with their Christmas hit, ‘Last Christmas’, registering at Number 40.

Leona Lewis moved up a place to Number Three with her single, ‘Bleeding Love’.
