UK set for own Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame
New pop music exhibition to be set up in London
A new pop music exhibition is set to be opened at London’s O2 Arena, with a permanent UK Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame a possibility for inclusion.
Plans have been drawn out to honour inductees to the possible British Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame by having holograms of inducted musicians appear when visitors push buttons.
The exhibition, dubbed “Popworld”, will feature memorabilia from pop stars from the past and present, and visitors will be able to download classic songs.
Meanwhile, The Shockwaves NME Awards 2008, also to be held at the O2 Arena, are coming soon – and it’s time to have your say. Vote now by heading to NME.COM/awardsvote and you could win VIP tickets to the ceremony, which takes place in London on February 28.
