Jose Gonzalez schedules Green Tour

Eco-friendly outing will even extend to his rider

Jose Gonzalez schedules Green Tour

Jose Gonzales has announced an upcoming tour of North America, and revealed plans to make it an environmentally-friendly excursion.

Gonzales will tour in partnership with Reverb, “a non-profit organization designed to educate and engage music fans
and promote environmental sustainability”, and every effort will be made to be eco-conscious throughout.

His plans include biodegradable catering products, and a reduction of plastic water bottles on his rider, with band and crew furnished with reusable water bottles as the tour kicks off.

They will also calculate the CO2 footprint of the tour and neutralise emissions from venue energy use, ground transportation, flights and hotel accommodations by supporting clean renewable energy projects.

50 cents will be added on to every ticket price to benefit Reverb and those who buy advance tickets on ticketstoday.com will also have the opportunity to add a further 50 cents to NativeEnergy's CO2 Offset program.

Jose Gonzales stickers will be available for purchase at every show, and profits will go towards purchasing carbon offsets generated from travel to/from the show.
