Young Knives and Joe Lean and the Jing Jang Jong are among the first acts confirmed for 2008 The Great Escape festival.

Additional acts announced include Lightspeed Champion, Tunng, Peter Von Poehl, Fujiya & Miyagi and School Of Language.

The event will take place in a host of venues across Brighton from May 15-17.
