Black Eyed Peas Fergie: 'I'm like Princess Diana'
Singer says she has a lot in common with late royal
Black Eyed Peas frontwoman Fergie has revealed she feels a common bond with the late Diana, Princess of Wales.
The singer told Blender magazine that due to her celebrity she has a lot in common with the late royal, who died in a car crash in 1997.
Speaking in an interview she said: "People but celebrities on a pedestal and act like they’re perfect. But I’m more like the people's artist – the same way Diana was 'the people’s princess'."
She continued: "I'm a little more human than other artists. I’m not afraid to show my flaws and have a laugh about it."
Fergie performed at last year's Concert For Diana at London's Wembley Stadium.
