France's 'first lady' gears up for album release

Former supermodel Carla Bruni is gearing up for the US wide-release of ‘No Promises’, slated to hit stores on February 19.

The album is the second release from the Italian model and was previously available through iTunes and Barnes and Noble. The concept sees Bruni interpret her favourite poems through song.

Shel is currently best known for her relationship with French president Nicolas Sarkozy, whom she has been dating since November. Recent reports that the pair married in secret are unsubstantiated.

The track list is:
