Quincy Jones to be honoured with award
National Association Of Broadcasters will honour legendary producer
Quincy Jones is set to receive the Celebration of Service to America Leadership Award from the National Assosciation of Broadcasters.
The legendary producer who has greatly contributed to the success of Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson, will be honoured at a ceremony to take place in June.
The award recognises one “who has performed extraordinary public service in bettering the lives of others”, and in Jones’ case this refers to his dedication to helping underprivileged youth through his
Listen Up Foundation and We Are the Future Foundation. The award also honours him for his work preserving African-American art, says Variety.
