New Kids On the Block are reportedly preparing to reunite after 14 years.

The hugely successful American boy band, which broke up in 1994, are expected to make an official announcement in the coming weeks, reports People magazine.

The band's website has been dormant, but is now active in anticipation of the announcement.

New Kids On The Block sold more than 70 million albums worldwide during their 10 years together from 1984 to 1994.

Original members include brothers Jordan and Jonathan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Danny Wood and Donnie Wahlberg, who has had a successful acting and producing career.

Hooray, and about time too! They were the biggest and best band ever and I'm proud to be a fan, even if I am 35 and married. By the way, if you're a fan too, check out the Face The Music Fan Club - www.facethemusicfanclub.com

I am soo happy that they are going to get back together. It really is a dream come true. After all without New Kids where would Take That, Boyzone etc be?
