First name for Glastonbury confirmed

2008 line-up takes shape with Sunday legend spot

Neil Diamond will perform at this year's Glastonbury Festival, it has been confirmed.

The veteran American singer-songwriter, whose hits include 'Sweet Caroline' and 'America' is set to play on Sunday June 29 at Worthy Farm in Pilton.

The Glastonbury Festival will take place between June 27 and 29. Tickets will go on sale to the public on April 6.
