The Spice Girls cut short world tour
The band cancel dates in several countries
The Spice Girls announced today (February 1) that they will be cutting short their reunion world tour.
The band cited "family and personal commitments" as well as challenging touring logistics as the reasons for cancelling their tour dates beyond the end of February.
The band posted a message on their website saying: "Due to the phenomenal demand for tickets in the UK and the US along with the touring logistics for such a massive production it was not possible to fit everything in.
"Really sorry if we didn’t get to see you this time round. We all have other commitments in our lives now but who knows what will happen next.”
The Spice Girls have cancelled dates in Australia, China, South Africa and Argentina.
The reunion tour, which began in the US in December, will now end in Toronto on February 26.
