Yayo gets community service for harassing boy

G-Unit rapper 'glared' at teenager in New York

G-Unit rapper Tony Yayo has been sentenced to 10 days of community service for harassing a 14-year-old boy in New York.

Yayo, whose real name is Marvin Bernard was accused of slapping James Rosemund Jr, who is the son of Czar Records executive Jimmy ‘Henchman’ Rosemond. Rosemund is also the manager of Yayo’s rap-rival The Game.

The incident occurred outside a nightclub in Chelsea in March 2007, and Yayo pled guilty to harassment but denied slapping the boy.

Yayo’s associate Lowell Fletcher said he slapped the boy and Yayo pulled him away, says the Associated Press.

The rapper will do his community service at the Book Bank, which promotes literacy.

Fletcher was sentenced to nine months in jail.
