Sir Paul McCartney and Heather Mills fail to agree divorce settlement

Ex-Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney and Heather Mills have failed to agree on a divorce settlement regarding the distribution of McCartney’s wealth and custody of the pair’s daughter, Beatrice.

Nicholas Mostyn QC, representing McCartney in court in London today, confirmed that judgement was reserved on the hearing.

This means that within the next few weeks high court judge will work out how much of McCartney’s money his estranged wife will get from his estimated £825m fortune.

Sky News reports that Mills was in court for the hearing today (February 18), while McCartney did not attend, as he is thought to be rehearsing for a performance at the Brit Awards, set to take place on Wednesday (February 20).
