Cruz Beckham upstages Spice Girls in New York

Victoria Beckham’s youngest son Cruz upstaged The Spice Girls during their sold-out show at Madison Square Garden in New York last night (February 18) when he launched into some break-dancing during the girls’ rendition of 'Mama'.

The group were in fits of giggles, missing lyrics in the song as they watched the three-year-old dance.

"We’ve been upstaged. He’s the next Justin Timberlake,” said mum Victoria.

Geri Halliwell’s daughter Bluebell, Mel B’s daughter Angel and Emma Bunton’s baby Beau were also on stage, as were Romeo and Brooklyn Beckham.

Bluebell Halliwell also had her moment in the spotlight when she grabbed her mum’s microphone and started singing “Mama I Love You” for the 15,000 strong crowd.

After the family performance they posed for a photograph before continuing the show.

“It’s so nice to be here as a five-piece for the first time,” Halliwell told the crowd earlier in the evening, with Mel C interjecting “Yeah, because you did a bunk”.

The show is was the sole New York City stop on the reunion tour for the girls, who recently played three shows in New Jersey .

They played:

'Spice Up Your Life'
'Stop'
'Say You'll Be There'
'Headlines (Friendship Never Ends)'
'Lady Is A Vamp'
'Too Much'
'2 Become 1'
'Who Do You Think You Are'
'Are You Gonna Go My Way' (feat. Mel B)
'Maybe' (feat. Emma Bunton)
'Viva Forever'
'Holler'
'It's Raining Men' (feat. Geri Halliwell)
'I Turn To You' (feat. Melanie C)

'Goodbye'
'Wannabe'
'Spice Up Your Life' (Reprise)
