There are just a few minutes to go before the Shockwaves NME Award 2008 get underway at the IndigO2 arena in London at 4pm (GMT) today (February 28).

Arctic Monkeys lead the way, picking up seven nods between them, while The Cribs, Klaxons and My Chemical Romance are not far behind them.
