Pearl Jam plot US summer tour

Kings Of Leon will support on first leg

Pearl Jam have announced the dates of a US tour this June.

The band, who only played a handful of live dates last year, will hit the road beginning June 11 in West Palm, Florida.

They'll play shows in Virgina Beach, Washington DC, and Mansfield, Massachusetts as well as Tennessee's Bonnaroo Festival and two nights at New York's Madison Square Garden.

Kings Of Leon will open for Pearl Jam on the first leg of the tour, June 11-17, and Ted Leo And The Pharmacists will support June 19-30.

Pearl Jam are reportedly working on the follow-up to their 2006 self-titled album.

Funny, I could have sworn I saw Pearl Jam 5 times in 2007. Yet they only played two shows, eh? Excellent journalism.
