Britney Spears scores highest ratings for US sitcom
The pop star delivers on 'How I Met Your Mother'
Britney Spears' guest appearance on the US television sitcom 'How I Met Your Mother' on Monday night (March 24) brought the programme its highest ratings since it debuted in 2005.
The show, which airs on CBS, attracted 10.6 million viewers, reports the Hollywood Reporter.
Spears, who played a receptionist who falls in love with the show's main character, received some critical acclaim for the brief performance.
'Mother' was the pop star's first acting role since she appeared on another American sitcom, 'Will And Grace', in 2006.
