Mick Jones performs 'inspiring' set at NME Awards USA
Carbon/Silicon toast their front man's success in Los Angeles
Carbon/Silicon played an inspired set at the NME Awards USA tonight (April 23) in celebration of frontman Mick Jones presentaion with the Inspiration Award at the Los Angeles ceremony.
Taking the stage just before 10:00pm(PST), Jones said he'd wait for the clock to strike the hour before playing. The band then launched into 'Why Do Men Fight' and 'The News', with their contagious enthusiasm quickly spreading to the crowd.
With the British NME Awards already a key event on the global music scene, this year marks the launch of the NME Awards in north America.
