Bench warrant issued for Foxy Brown

Rapper ditches court appearance in Brooklyn

Bench warrant issued for Foxy Brown

Foxy Brown is in trouble with the law again, just weeks after being released from Rikers Island prison in New York.

The rapper, whose real name is Inga Marchand, was released on April 18 having serving 8 months for violating her probation after assaulting workers at a nail salon in Chelsea, and was due to appear in Brooklyn Supreme Court today (May 6) on charges relating to assaulting her neighbour with a BlackBerry device.

However, she was a no-show in court this morning, resulting in a bench warrant issued by Judge John Walsh.

The rapper’s attorney did not know where Brown was and a new date will be set for her court appearance,

Meanwhile, Brown is due in court in Florida this Thursday (May 8) after being charged with assaulting a worker at a beauty store in the state last year.
