P Diddy praises actors in Notorious BIG biopic
Rapper says likenesses are 'eerie'
P. Diddy has praised the actors in the upcoming biopic about slain rap star Notorious BIG.
The rapper/business mogul said that actor Jamal ‘Gravy’ Woolard's portrayal of Notorious BIG is "eerie".
"Gravy's killing it," P. Diddy told MTV. "If I tell you he's killing it, then that's all we need to say, you know what I'm saying? I don't think anybody could have done a better job."
P. Diddy also doled out praise for actor Derek Luke, who portrays him in the film. "People asked me years ago who you'd want to play me, and I said Derek Luke...so it was just destined. I got to see him do his thing, and it was scary for me. I had to leave, 'cause he was acting just like me."
The film, titled 'Notorious', is scheduled to be released in January 2009.
