Weezer push up album release date
The 'Red Album' will hit streets three weeks early
Weezer have announced that they are pushing up the US release date of their sixth studio album by three weeks.
The band, who just put the finishing touches on their self-titled album -- also known as the Red Album -- have decided to release it on June 3 rather than June 24 as initially planned.
Due to the rapid success of the album's first single 'Pork And Beans', which recently hit Number One on Billboard's Modern Rock chart, the band have decided to ride the tide and release the new album early.
