Boy band play the hits on US show

New Kids On The Block played their first gig in 15 years in New York yesterday (May 16).

The band played a host of hits including Number One single 'You Got It (The Right Stuff)' and 'Hangin' Tough' along with new single 'Summertime' during a performance on US news programme The Today Show.

Some fans queued for the gig 48 hours before the band were due to arrive on stage.

The hugely successful American boy band are set to release 'Summertime' ahead of their North American tour which starts in September, reports BBC News.

They broke up in 1994 and sold more than 70 million albums worldwide during their 10 years together from 1984.

Original members include brothers Jordan and Jonathan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Danny Wood and Donnie Wahlberg, who has had a successful acting and producing career.
