Leona Lewis replaces Amy Winehouse for Bond – Tabloid Hell

'X Factor' winner looks set to sing 'Quantum Of Solace'

Leona Lewis replaces Amy Winehouse for Bond – Tabloid Hell

Leona Lewis is reportedly set to replace Amy Winehouse as the singer of the theme of the new James Bond movie.

Lewis, who is already a huge star in the US, is said to be in talks with the movie’s producers to sing the theme for the 22nd Bond flick ’Quantum Of Solace’.

“She is seen as one of the few candidates who has the right profile both sides of the pond to do it.,” a source told The Sun. “Amy was their original choice but she just can’t get her act together and hasn’t got the right image.

As previously reported, Amy Winehouse did some work on the track with producer Mark Ronson, but the sessions led to nothing and Ronson commented: “I’m not sure Amy is ready to work on music yet.”

Winehouse then reportedly tried to work with producer Salaam Remi but again, a suitable recording did not come to fruition.

The movie is due to be released in October.
