He'll play himself on David Duchovny TV show

Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz is set to make a cameo appearance on ‘Californication’, the Showtime series in which former X-Files actor David Duchovny stars.

Wentz, however, will not have to take acting classes before the stint, as he will reportedly be playing himself in the episode, which will air in September.

According to Perez Hilton, “Duchovny's character, the troubled writer Hank, will see Pete at a pool party hanging out with the show's resident teen, Mia. Pete will tell Hank how much he enjoyed his book.”

Wentz and his wife Ashlee Simpson are currently expecting their first child, announcing the pregnancy just weeks after getting married last month in California.
