'No divorce plans' for Madonna

Material Girl and hubby not splitting, says rep
After almost a week of rumours surrounding the state of her marriage to Guy Ritchie, a rep for Madonna today flatly denied that the singer and her husband are divorcing.
Rumours of a split surfaced after The Times reported that Madonna had hired Fiona Shackleton, the same divorce lawyer used by Paul McCartney in his split with Heather Mills, and both she and Ritchie have recently been photographed without their wedding rings.
"There are no divorce plans," Liz Rosenberg, Madonna's publicist, said simply in a statement today, according to Reuters.
Ritchie arrived in New York at the weekend to spend time with his wife, who is currently in the midst of rehearsals for her forthcoming 'Sticky and Sweet' world tour.
The pair married in 2000, at Skibo Castle in Scotland. They have a son together, Rocco and this year their adoption of Malawian baby David Banda was approved.
Madonna also has a daughter, Lourdes, with ex-boyfriend Carlos Leon.
