Panic At The Disco discuss Abbey Road recording sessions

Catch their studio performance when it airs tomorrow night

Panic! At The Disco have returned to London's legendary Abbey Road Studios to record a live performance set to air in the US tomorrow night (July 3).

The Las Vegas band used the studio made famous by The Beatles to lay down their most recent album 'Pretty, Odd' and went back to record a live performance and interview, which will air tomorrow on the Sundance Channel's 'Live From Abbey Road'.

"When we were there mixing our record in January, the producer of the show said he was a fan of our band and he'd love to have us on the show," explained drummer and founding member Spencer Smith.

"We were impressed with the production and how intimate it is and how it's about the songs and nothing else. We thought it was a great opportunity to go back into Abbey Road and do something different."

Smith said that when producer Rob Mathis originally suggested the band record their album there, they were incredibly excited by the idea.

"There's not a more famous studio in the world than Abbey Road," said Smith. "It's amazing. We've listened to so many things recorded in that studio, from The Beatles to Radiohead. We even got to use some of the original equipment."

'Live From Abbey Road' airs weekly each Thursday at 10:00pm EST/PST. Artists slated to perform on future shows include MGMT, Elbow, Alanis Morissette and The Black Keys.

Panic! At The Disco are currently touring throughout the UK and Europe, playing several festival and headlining dates.
